I fell in a town in Illinois because of a sidewalk change of elevation. The company handling my claim against the town is asking for complete access to any and all of my medical records, past and future, before offering a settlement. I want to rewrite their authorization form to include only current and pertinent medical records. Will they accept that? ok, reenze, the claim is only for damage to my teeth and the repair thereof. I did have several other injuries -- broken nose, bruised knees, cracked rib, bruise to shoulder and upper leg, etc., but we have medical insurance to cover that stuff. I'm not looking for pain and suffering, etc., I just want my dental bills handled. Why do they need ALL my records (none of which are unusual, just personal) in order to handle a dental claim?...
